What’s New at the Vineyard

WINEMAKER’S DINNER

Join us for a winemaker’s dinner with Mike Blaylock of Quady Winery. Mike is a gifted wine maker and a very entertaining speaker. He will be here on Thursday March 19th . We’ll be pouring five of his wines and serving a course with each one. Our goal is to highlight food and wine parings to make interesting flavor combinations. Your goal should be to have fun while learning about one of Madera’s classic wineries and trying some new tastes. The evening costs $45 a person. Here is the menu:

Quady Sherry
Roasted almonds and olives

Vya Dry Vermouth
Risotto with Vya and exotic mushrooms

Essensia
Bruschetta with Venetian liver, onions and port

Quady Visiao
Brased Short Ribs with Polenta and T&D Willey Farms vegetables

ST. PATRICKS DAY

We will serve Corned Beef and Cabbage for lunch and dinner on Tuesday March 17th. Come in and have an Irish Coffee with your St Patrick’s Day special dinner. See you then.

SPECIAL EVENTS

We do many special events here at the restaurant. Last week, we catered a baby shower, a wedding reception, an after funeral reception and a 50th wedding anniversary. All had a different menu and seating arrangement. Everyone was pleased and we’re sure you will be too. WINE BOTTLE

Here is a picture of our newest piece of art. By noted local welder and artist Steve King this 600 lb bottle of wine is covered with hand made vines and leaves. Steve won third place in the Madera Arts Council Salute to Agriculture Show with this bottle.
