What’s New at the Vineyard

AS MANY OF YOU KNOW

Helen Mariscotti, my mother, has been seriously ill from complications following heart surgery.  She is still in serious condition, but has been stable the past few days.  I know many of you are thinking and praying for her.  Thank you.

HOLIDAY HOURS

Our regular operating hours are 11:00am till 10:00pm, Monday through Friday, and 5:00pm to 10:00pm on Saturdays.

• We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. 
• On Friday, November 28, we’ll be open for dinner only. 
• We will be closed on Christmas Day. 
• New Year’s Eve dinner is always busy, so you might think about making reservations now.
• We will be closed on New Year’s Day.

HOLIDAY SPECIALS

As we’ve done for the past 32 years, we’ll be serving Cioppino in December. And of course, we have our famous Pumpkin Ravioli and Prime Rib on Friday and Saturday nights.

GIFT CARDS AND GIFT CERTIFICATES

Come in, or call to get gift cards or certificates in any amount.  Of course the unused balance can be carried forward and used towards the next purchase here.

GIVING TREE

Another annual, holiday tradition here is our Giving Tree.  In conjunction with the Madera Christmas Baskets program, we collect gifts for underprivileged children.  On our Christmas tree, there are tags with a child’s name and a gift they want.  Please come in, take a tag or two and bring the gift back with the tag attached to it.  Last year you donated over 300 gifts.  On Thursday December 11th the servers, bussers and bartenders will be donating a portion of their tips to buy food and gifts for a family that the Christmas Basket program suggests we donate to.

ECONOMY

These are challenging, economic times for all of us.  You can read the news, and analysts’ explanations and opinions on how bad things are and whose fault it is, but we won’t offer blame, opinions or explanations, only good food and beverage.  The Vineyard is fortunate to be doing pretty well.  We’re grateful for your business and friendship.  We all have much to be thankful for.  Enjoy your Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year.
