Vineyard Restaurant Fig Fest 2011 Award
The Vineyard Restaurant's famed Fresh figs wrapped with bacon drizzles with basalmic vinegar reduction won an award at the latest August 2011 Fig Fest in Fresno, CA... enjoy the view!
The mural, by artist Colleen Goodwin Chronister, represents the history of agriculture in Madera County. It is the first in a series of murals in downtown Madera. The murals are made possible by a grant to the Madera County Arts Council from the National Endowment For The Arts. The subjects in the mural are from photographs of early Madera County agriculture gathered in the artist's research at the Madera County Historical Society museum.
