Wine Tasting

Join us for a tour of wines from around the world. 10 wines matched with appetizers from Chef Benjamin. Wines will be provided by noted wine merchant and educator Jay Christensen. The tasting is  Wednesday April 27th 6:30 $30 a person. Call now for reservations. The wines will be available for purchase at special pricing.

Our next wine event will be in mid June with the Montecelli brothers and their father Marcello.

Mother's Day

Sunday May 8. We will be open from 11 to 7 for lunch and dinner. Menu is online. Make reservations at 674-0923 or online at vineyardrestaurant.com.

Joel's Award

Famous bartender Joel Platt was awarded the Yosemite Sierra Visitors Bureau Service Award. Platt, who has been with the restaurant since 1999, received multiple nominations from patrons who said his service was always outstanding."I think he should be nominated because he always has a great attitude, every time you walk in, he's eager to help you. He always comes over and acts very personably, knowing each of his customers so well that he can add that personal touch that makes you feel at home," said one nomination.

Another also extolled Platt's service skills, and said they are a positive reflection on the rest of the staff at The Vineyard as well.

 "Joel provides excellent customer service every day, giving everyone who visits The Vineyard an enjoyable experience in Madera County. I think they, and the entire Vineyard staff, deserve this award."

Decorated Banquet Room

As I write this Sarah Donovan is decorating our back room for a bridal shower. Look at this picture. It is amazing what she does. Our back room is perfect for parties up to 50. Even without these decorations it is a warm and accommodating space. We open on Saturday lunch for special parties. Sarah can be reached at 779 0242.
