VALENTINE’S DAY

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and if you haven’t made plans yet, call us now for reservations! Chef Benjamin is planning a very special menu which is posted on our website and on our newly updated Facebook page. Check us out and “like” us, and get the latest Vineyard news.  Remember Tuesday, February 14 is that special day, and this is the special place to spend it with that special person. We will be offering a complimentary picture on Valentine's Day Dinner, see you then!

MADERA WINE TRAIL

This weekend, our local wineries will be hosting the “Wine and Chocolate Weekend” on Saturday and Sunday, February 11th and 12th. Check out the Madera Wine Trail website to see the participating wineries and map. If you buy some of the fine wines on Saturday and would like to drink them here along with your meal, we will waive the corkage fee this Saturday the 11th.  Which leads me to my next topic...

WE ARE OPEN ON SATURDAYS FOR LUNCH

The Vineyard is open for lunch starting at 11:30 every Saturday, so if you need a break for lunch, or are hungry after a grueling day of wine tasting, come by!  It’s a great time to have a leisurely meal and not rush back to the office. It’s also a perfect day to host a bridal or baby shower, or any other celebration you’d like. Give us a call for reservations or to make arrangements for parties.

SPECIAL VALENTINE SWEETHEART MARTINI

Joel, our bartender extraordinaire (didn’t you see his picture in the Madera Tribune?) will be featuring his world-famous Sweetheart Martini all month. He waits all year for this, so don’t let him down.

Sweetheart Martini

1 oz Malibu Rum
1 oz Midori Melon Liqueur
1 oz Grenadine
4 oz Sweet and Sour mix
Shake with ice and serve in a chilled martini glass

 

WHAT’S UP WITH MARK?

So many of our guests have been asking about Mark Martinez, the server and manager who worked here for 11 years, that we thought we’d give you an update.

We are happy to announce that he finally got into nursing school this fall, but sad to announce that he had to stop working here to concentrate full-time on his studies.

We miss him, too, but he does stop by to visit us once in a while with his lovely bride Malia.
